NorthPoint Domain Inc. Launches New Identity Program and Corporate Website To Align Company's Mission and Goals With External Communication Standards

Boston, MA—(May 15, 2002) NorthPoint Domain Inc., a worldwide developer and seller of medical specialty products that link information therapy to clinical therapy at the point of care, has launched a new identity program and corporate website. Both communication programs were created in order to reflect NorthPoint Domain's growing scope of product and service offerings, as well as to better represent the company's core founding principle that medical decisions are best made by physicians in partnership with patients and their families.

The cornerstone of the identity program is a new corporate logo, designed to reflect the company's recurring compass and "North" themes. The two-color mark is used in tandem with the company's traditional NorthPoint Domain logofont. A similar mark provides branding for the company's new, interactive Interventional Vascular Medicine Forum educational platform.

The new NorthPoint Domain corporate website offers enhanced features, functionality, and information to significantly improve the visitor's experience. From a strategic perspective, these upgrades include: updated content, written to clearly and concisely describe the company's mission, value to physicians and their patients, as well as its products and services; reengineered information architecture to simplify the user's progression through the site; and an emphasis on corporate, not product, brand building to reinforce the overall company's upscale position as a leader in its market category. From a visitor perspective, these improvements include: an updated web page template "look and feel" designed to augment content; an emphasis on graphics, not copy, to expedite information exchange; and enhanced company-user contact options and opportunities to encourage site visitors to contact NorthPoint Domain for more information about the company from practically any location on the site.
