Our Company's mission and capabilities are aligned with the highest priorities of medical specialty practices wishing to integrate Informed Care Sciences into their clinical practice of medicine. Our clients are on the forefront of medicine and take pride in delivering advanced technologies and Informed Care products and services to each and every patient as well as at-risk citizens that they serve. Since our inception, we have sought to distinguish our specialty specific products, media, and content in the marketplace by adhering to a strict code of medical stewardship, governance, and ethics.
Integrating Informed Care Sciences into the clinical practice of medicine, however, certainly involves an element of risk. Before NorthPoint Domain, this had never been attempted before, but it is through the governance of our medical advisory boards and the dedication of our Professional Services teams that we are able to achieve full and complete integration of all of our Informed Care offerings into our client base across five medical specialties: Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, Urology, Vascular Surgery and, finally, what we call Neuro, to include Interventional Neuro Radiology and Neuro Surgery. What is more, in an effort to further distinguish our offerings, we have instituted medical governance panels that are structured at the specialty specific level: that is to say that cardiology specific matters are only reviewed by cardiologists, urology specific matters are only reviewed by urologists, and so on.
In April of 2002 we launched the Interventional and Vascular Medicine Forum. In 2005 we announced the partnership of the Forum with I.S.E.T. and V.I.V.A., two of the nations leading medical conferences. The I.V.M.F. builds upon the success of its predecessor, the Endovascular Forum (founded 1996) - a forum hosted by medical specialists for their peers, focusing on new and often controversial approaches to disease management. This year we celebrate 10 years of the Forum, which remains true to its original charter: to accelerate distance based learning around the awareness and adoption of new and innovative minimally invasive procedures.
